Installation of the Fuel Supply System
It is time to put the fuel tank on. The first thing you need to do is find the fuel shut off valve and the carbon fiber ring that goes with it. The shut off valve also has the fuel filter attached to it. Place the fiber washer over the threaded portion of the cut off valve and then screw the shut off valve into the lower right bottom of the fuel tank. Tighten it up firmly but insure that the valve faces away from the tank to the right, otherwise you will not be able to operate it once the tank is mounted on the bike.
Once you have fuel cut off valve screwed into the fuel tank it is time to mount the tank. You will need the two brackets supplied with the kit and four nuts. Place the fuel tank on the top bar of the frame approximately three inches from the handle bar yoke. Attach the two mounting brackets and four nuts. Tighten the nuts up until the fuel tank will not move. Now take the clear fuel line supplied with the kit and slide it over the nipple on the fuel shut off valve on one end and the fuel input tube on the carburetor. Note: It is a good idea to put a small retainer clip around the fuel line going into the carburetor to prevent leaks at this point. This retainer clip is not supplied with the kit. This image below shows the proper way for the fuel system to be installed.
