Assembling you new MoBike Pg2
Clutch Adjustment
Lock the clutch in the disengage position by pulling the lever to the handle bar and pushing down on the clutch lock out button. Push the bike forward and insure that the bikes moves easily and that the engine in not engaged to the rear tire. If it is or is dragging slightly adjust the engine mounted clutch lever on the pull cable towards the middle of the engine until the bike moves freely without dragging the clutch system.
Accessories
Install any accessories that you have purchased with your bike at this time. Each accessory comes with hardware and instructions for installation.
Chain Adjustment
To adjust the chain leave the clutch engaged, clutch lever unlocked, and push the bike backwards until the top part of the chain is tight. Next insure that the bottom portion of the chain, between the chain tension adjuster and the motor, has no more than ½” of play up and down.
Final Check Out
Now would be a good time to give your MoBike a good going over, checking all bolts and screws to insure they are tight. It is also important to note that because things move much faster in motor operation mode that you need to keep an eye on bolts and screws that can come loose. Do not forget to insure that your tires are inflated to the proper pressure.
NOTE: When tightening the engine head bolts be sure to use a torque wrench set to the proper setting and follow the tightening bolt pattern. (See maintenance manual for detailed instructions).
Fueling your MoBike
NOTE: Review the fuel warning page before fueling your MoBike.
It’s time to add the fuel. Be sure to read the fuel warning page included with your information package.
Mix your fuel and 2-cycle oil in a 1 gallon gas can. Swirl the can around insuring that the fuel and oil are completely mixed.
Remove the fuel cap from the gas tank and fill it to the bottom of the gas tank fill neck.
Insure that the fuel shut off valve is turned on. It will be lined up with the fuel line if it is on.
