The image below shows the Chain Tension Assembly mounted on the bike frame. Mount the Chain Tension assembly 8” from the rear wheel axel. This will provide the proper track for the rear wheel drive chain.

Note the nut that allows the Teflon roller wheel on the Tension assembly. Now would be a good time to remove this pulley and put some axel grease around the post. Then replace the tension assembly pulley. To adjust the tension on the chain correctly push the bike backwards until the top of the chain is tight. Now adjust the tension pulley up until the bottom run of the chain has no more than ¼” movement up and down.
Finally, check the spark plug and insure that it has a 0.4mm to 0.5mm gap. Then re-install it into the motor.
