Assembling you new MoBike
Assembly
Remove your new bike from the box. Hold the front of the bike up and slide the front tire into the slots on the front forks. Be sure the front tire is straight and then tighten up the two securing nuts.
NOTE: If your bike comes with the optional analog speedometer be sure to slide the wheel link piece over the axel before installing the wheel.
Put down the kick stand, standing the bike on its own.
Unwrap the handlebars and slide the handle bar post into the hole on the front yoke.
Align the handle bars so that they are straight and aligned with the front tire.
Using an Allen wrench, tighten up the handle bars by turning the bolt clockwise until it is tight. Insure the handle bars are tight by holding the front tire between your legs and trying to turn the handle bars.
Next install your pedals onto the pedaling bars. Note that there is a left pedal and a right pedal. They are clearly marked. Be sure to screw them in the correct way as the right one threads in reverse.
To mount the fuel tank, screw the filter/shut off valve unit into the hole in the bottom/rear of the tank. NOTE: Don not forget to use the fiber washer that is included.
Next, using the two brackets and 4 nuts, included, mount the gas tank approximately two inches from the handle bar mounting yoke. Tighten all four nuts firmly and insure that the tank does not move.
Connect the clear fuel line tubing between the shut off valve and the carburetor input tube.
Last, remove the mirror from its package and mount it onto the left hand side of the handle bar. Slip the bracket support over the handle bar and then slide the mirror stem through the handle bar bracket. Adjust the mirror for proper viewing and then tighten it into position.
Sit on your bike and adjust the brake and clutch handles by loosening up the allen screws using a allen wrench. Position them so that they are comfortable to operate when in the sitting position.
Adjust the seat for a comfortable leg position when riding.
Adjust the mirror so you can see behind you when you are riding.

| | | Bicycle Motor & Kits ( 17 ) | |
A bicycle motor may be just the thing you're looking for to add a little pep and excitement to your bike riding. If you enjoy riding your bike, and enjoying the great outdoors, and the breeze upon your face, then you may love seeing what happens when you add a bicycle motor to your ride. No, I don't mean a motorcycle. I mean a motor powered bicycle. This makes the bike function more along the lines of a motorcycle, but it is actually something of a hybrid, because most of the time, a bicycle motor is just an extra feature on a bike, and the bike remains usable by pedaling. You probably don't want to try that with a motorcycle. Different bikes will have different usage levels. On some of them, the pedals will be basically just for emergency, or very infrequent usage. On other bikes, you can choose to use the bicycle motor as frequently or infrequently as you like.
Ideally, you'll consider your usage and determine which type of bicycle motor would be of best use for you. If you're really basically looking for a motorcycle or a motor scooter, you might not be too concerned about the pedal feature, but if you like to get out and about on your bike, you might choose to make sure that you're able to regularly use the pedals.
If you enjoy being out and enjoying the brisk spring air, and feeling your hair blowing around your face, you might want to give a bicycle motor a try on your own bike. Now of course you can't honestly pad your exercise time by including the powered time, but maybe you can augment your exercise by heading out further than you could have, in order to go somewhere else. If you have a fairly lengthy distance to go on a given day, perhaps on your commute, you might choose to work your way up to pedaling all the way, or only pedal part way, or one leg of the commute. Otherwise maybe a special destination can be your goal.
You need to honestly evaluate whether or not you're able or interested in setting up your bicycle motor yourself. If you are, you can order the kits for the motors, and get to work. Otherwise, you need to be sure to find a reputable dealer in order to get yourself ready to go.
You know how you like to spend your time outdoors. If it includes much of any time on a bike, take a look at the options you have available to you. There is nothing quite like a bike that can almost turn into a motorcycle on command. Why wouldn't you like the opportunity to make use of the power option on occasion? Everyone has the occasional lazy day, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to use your bike to head off to wherever you want to go. Look into a bicycle motor and see if one of them is right for you.

| | | Electric Bicycles ( 21 ) | |
Electric bicycles are the newest craze in the ever-growing green movement. When the bicycle was invented, it was probably unimaginable to think that one day they would be used as an automatic mode of transportation in our modern society. Investing in an electric bicycle is probably one of the easiest and self-satisfying trends coming about. For many people, contributing to a cleaner environment is a concern that is becoming front and center in their day-to-day lives as well as during times of recreation and adventure. These bicycles are a great way to take personal responsibility and rev up for a more environmentally friendly mode of transportation.
Some might say that an electric bicycle is the product of combining the components of a motorcycle and those of a standard bicycle with pedals. This is a great way to think about their structure and design. These bicycles can vary by design and the way they are constructed. Some are constructed with the electric design from the beginning, whereas, others are simply bicycles that have been assembled with an electric motor after their original construction to make the original pedal-powered bicycle into an electric one.
On the other hand, even though an electric bicycle is modernized to become an effortless way to ride a bike, it does not necessarily mean it can only be used as a motorized mode of transportation. Many designs offer a variety of different ways to enjoy them. Some are designed to be used primarily as a motorized bicycle. Many, however, include the option of using the foot pedals on the occasion the motor has difficulty, the rider wants to get a manual workout, or perhaps go on a family ride with other members of the family that do not have an electric bicycle. Thus, the bicycle can remain completely usable as a regular bicycle with the option to turn into a hybrid if needed.
The possibilities for using a modern motorized bicycle are endless. While some might decide to jump on the bandwagon to become more environmentally friendly, others use these bicycles for more practical purposes such as saving money on gas and parking, traveling a further distance with less physical effort, and maneuvering around busy places quickly. For example, college campuses are being flooded with these electric bicycles because they are so easy to use as well as easy to park. With the money spent to purchase an electric bicycle, one could easily save on parking permits as well as perhaps a few parking tickets.
Overall, electric bicycles are definitely one of the leading products in the green movement sweeping across the country. Bike riding has always been a favorite pastime for many people as well as a great way to exercise, travel, and spend time. Now that there is an option to add a motor and take advantage of one of these innovative bicycles, the art of riding has been revolutionized into an option that is suitable for so many more people to take advantage of.

Installing your new MoBike Engine Kit

Note: Mechanical aptitude and ability is required to perform this installation. Many “do it yourself” backyard mechanics will find this project rewarding. However, installation is sometimes best done by a professional mechanic. A rewarding joy and challenge can be found in designing a custom installation of your own. As with all motorized, power assisted, bikes it is essential that the front and rear wheels have good brakes to ensure safe operation. Front wheels with disc brakes are a good option and may be obtained at most bicycle shops. If your bike and motor drive kit are purchased from MoBike of America we offer complete support for any parts your need. Once you have your motor drive kit installed remember to break your engine in slowly with a rich oil to gas mixture following the Fuel Mixture Warning page instructions included with this manual. Remember, a quality installation and engine brake in with the right oil mix is paramount to safe usage and long engine life.

| | | Motorized Bike or Bicycles ( 18 ) | |
A
Motorized bicycle
is something like a hybrid between a motorcycle and a bicycle.
Motorized bicycles can range in design and can
either be designed with a motor to begin with, or can have a motor added to an
existing bicycle. They are designed with a wide range of usability.
Some are designed so that use of the pedals would be primarily for emergency
usage, if the motor stopped working. Some, on the other hand, are perfectly
usable as a bike, but you can be assisted by the motor if you so choose. Our
motorized bicycle uses the pedals to start the motor to eliminate a bulky
battery.
You can even order
engine kits to turn regular bike into motorized bicycle.
Motorized bicycles
can be fun and they can be useful too. Maybe you need to give one a try to see
if one might be right for you. You may decide you like it so much that you want
to trade up from your regular bike. While a bike is certainly a terrific piece of
equipment, it is limited in its capabilities. You won't be able to take your
bike out for a ride, then decide once you're there that you'd like your bike to
drive you home. You are stuck there until you work up your energy to pedal your
way home, or you are able to convince someone to come pick you and the bike up
to take you home. You can't go beyond where you would care to ride, because you
don't have the benefit of the extra zoom that the motor can give you when you're
all out of oomph. If you look into motorized bicycles, however, you will be
able to go that little bit of extra distance (or hey, maybe even a lot of extra
distance, since the bike is doing the work!). On the other end of the spectrum,
if you own a motorcycle and ride it to work in nice weather, you can't decide
one day that you'd really like to pedal your motorcycle home. A Motorized
bicycle offers a little bit of both worlds, and is a little bit like a
choose-your-own-adventure book! You can plan to ride out to your destination,
with the expectation that you will enable the motor on the way home. This way
you can plan an outing further away than you might otherwise. Or, perhaps you
will decide to turn the motor on first to get when you're going, and go a little
bit further than you're fully comfortable biking, in order to push yourself to
your limits, to get the most exercise you can.
However you choose to use them, motorized bicycles
can come in very handy. If you have any interest in the idea, you may want to
go see some motorized bicycles up close and in person. This can help you decide
if this is something you would use, and how much use you might get out of one.
This may also help you decide what style of motorized bicycle you want, whether
you want a bike with the integral design including the motor, or whether you
want an add-on motor for an existing or new bike.
